  27. HDToolBox shows the "size" of the drive to be a negative number.  Is this
  28. the problem to which you refer?  (See also the question below.)

  30. I'm able to format (apparently) any partition that lies below the 2GB
  31. limit.  But even with small partitions (all less than 1GB) format locks
  32. up the system if I try to format partitions later in the disk.

  34. After the lockups I have to do a complete low-level format using my NT
  35. Workstation system in order to get the Amiga to not lockup while booting.
  36. Then I get to try again.

  38. Someone mentioned in e-mail a better hard drive tool than HDToolBox but
  39. I don't recall which?  What is the best (free) tool around, and where?
